We had a great day celebrating the season on Friday. We got our work done and still had time for some crafts and a movie! The conductor (our principal) picked up each class and collected their train tickets. The students got to enjoy popcorn and the Polar Express. We also won the door decorating contest for our theme of gratitude during the holiday season! Have a great 2 weeks off kiddos! Make sure you read, read, read! I'll miss you!

Our school participated in the Hour of Code again this year. We got to practice being computer programmers! There was even a presentation from the Boulder based company, Starfall. Computer science is such an amazing industry and I am glad my kiddos get to be exposed to such a cool opportunity. Code.org is a free website that you can check out from home too!
We had a fantastic morning at the symphony. Thank you to Mrs. Golden for getting the scholarship for the whole 3rd grade. It was a great experience for everyone! Our class has been working very hard to earn their class points! At the beginning of the year we voted on what we wanted for the parties we earn. Only one could include junk food because all my students know I'd rather give them brain food like fruits and vegetables. We did have fun with our Takie party! (Even though they are too spicy for some of us!)
