This is such a fun time of year. We have successfully covered all of our academic standards and now we can take learning to a new level with field trips!

That was an amazing field day! We had so much parent participation and so many great attitudes which made the whole event a blast!
These kiddos celebrated with a pizza lunch on Friday. They practiced hard this year and officially know all of their multiplication facts!
In our last math/science unit of the year, we learned about bridges and the science and math that goes into building them. Students tested different types of bridges and then worked with teams to construct their final project. They did an amazing job!
Congratulations to some of the wonderful leaders of our school! We celebrated with a healthy refreshing treat called fruit pizza!
Here are the photos from our SPREE field trip. SPREE stands for South Platte River Environmental Education. We learned about the history of Denver, the health and history of the rivers in Colorado, and got to spend the day enjoying the crisp, fresh air and the sunshine. I absolutely love this field trip and seeing my kids enjoy the outdoors!
Mrs. Hopkins and Mrs. Renfrow have now awarded 14 of our third graders with math bracelets after completing all of their multiplication timed tests. I am very proud of these kiddos for all of their hard work! We also made multiplication board games to help us practice and the creativity of my kiddos really showed. The games are so much fun!
Teamwork. My kids have grown so much this year. Their ability to work together has improved so much. I know I will be sending them to 4th grade prepared for group work! My mom came to visit from Florida. One thing we have always enjoyed doing together is painting. We decided to share this love with my students. They did an amazing job and it was such a fun way to celebrate the end of testing!
