I got to spend a couple hours on a beautiful Saturday watching these talented athletes play soccer. I was more than impressed!
Our class working on a team building exercise! They had to use 4 pieces of yarn and a rubber band to pick up a cup without touching the cup with their hands. Teamwork is a major focus our our class. We use little activities like this to discuss what great teams do to be successful.
Junior Achievement came to visit our classroom! We learned about finances, taxes, communities, and practiced adding and subtracting money. Have your kids practice making change any chance you get! The first ever 3rd grade Multiplication Olympics took place in December. The next round will be the end of January! Mr. W's class won but we were close behind! Throw back to Halloween! The kiddos were so excited! I was very impressed by all of their Halloween costumes!
